The Cost of the War in Afghanistan

For America, the war in Afghanistan (and Iraq) now costs $8 billion a month, including $70 billion in the newly approved $448 billion Pentagon budget.

What I find ironic is that the USA lead a boycott on the 1980 Moscow Olympics why? Becuase Russian invaded Afganistan.

Well, I got behind Afghanistan, but this Iraq nonsense was nonsense from day one. I hope all the war's supporters remember the toppling of the Saddam statue and the Mission Accomplish speech/Top Gun sequel. It's the only joy this war will bring.
